Out of Area Patients - FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Why are you removing me from your patient list?

Every practice in the UK has a practice boundary.

As long as your address is within the practice boundary, you can register with us at the practice, however if your address is not in the boundary, you will need to seek a GP nearer to your home.

How do I know if I am in the practice boundary?

Please visit the practice boundary to see if you are in our area. All you need to do is enter your post code to reveal your address.

If you already live in the boundary but are moving outside of the area, you will have to seek a new GP closer to your home.

What if I can't find a new GP?

If you have difficulty in finding a new GP, please contact the Primary Care Support Service on 0333 014 2884 who will assist you.
